⏰ Time: 1400 - 2130 Hours (GMT +7) 

Tentative Schedule:
13:00 Gather at meeting point as shown in your e-ticket link. Shuttle leaves every 5 mins from 13:00 -15:00 pm.

14:30-17:30 Guests arrival at event venue, register and obtain physical ticket at entrance, and enjoy self-guided tour in Traditional Village.

17:30-19:00 Enjoy Thai Lanna Buffet Dinner.

19:00 Main stage area open for seating. 

19:30 Performance and ceremony.

20:15 Mass lantern release & fireworks show.

20:45 End of the ceremony, depart from the venue to drop-off point in Chiang Mai.

【Keeping Your Ticket Safe & Ready】

• Please check your email or WhatsApp for e-ticket link.
• Once an e-ticket’s QR code is scanned and exchange for paper ticket, it becomes invalid. Keep it secure to ensure nobody else uses it accidentally.
  

【Getting to the Official Meeting Point】

• For Elite and Platinum tickets — In front of MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center.
• For Gold, Premium, VIP, and Standard tickets — Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
• Arrange your own transportation to meeting point. Plan to arrive at the meeting point 30–60 minutes early. Your ticket link shows a Google Maps location for the meeting point.
• Traffic gets heavy during the festival. If you’re taking a taxi, confirm the destination and more importantly your return trip with the driver.
• Pack snacks, water, and maybe a hat or umbrella—shuttle waiting times can be unpredictable!
  
  

【Arriving at the Venue and Exchange for Paper Ticket】

• Your e-ticket link shows the venue location on google map.
• If you’re arranging your own transport to the venue, try to book it a day ahead and ensure a return trip—last-minute rides can be tricky due to language barriers and limited taxi.
• After arriving, exchange your e-ticket for a paper ticket at the entrance desk.
  

【Don’t Miss Fun Activities at the Venue】

• Explore the cultural village, enjoy traditional lanna dances, browse handicraft markets, or try a DIY workshop.
• Relax on a haystack while listening to live music.
• Visit the Loy Krathong area to light up and release a free Loy Krathong. Remember to make a wish! You can also light an oil lamp at that small mound to pray for blessings.
  

【Dinner zone Tips】

• The buffet opens around 5 PM and runs for about 2 hours.
• Use your physical ticket to enter the food zone based on the category of your ticket (Elite/Platinum/Premium/Gold/VIP/Standard).
• If you arrive after 17:00PM, please directly to the dining area and enjoy your buffet.

【Sky Lantern Ceremony Pagoda Zone】

• After dinner, proceed to the main stage area (where the Pagoda is located) and take your seat according to your assigned seat based on the ticket.
• You will find TWO sky lanterns (Khomloy) placed on each seat.
• Enjoy the performance, recite scriptures and meditate.
• Follow the instructions of the host to prepare and light up your lantern.
• Wait for the countdown before releasing your sky lanterns.
• At the end of the countdown, release your sky lantern and enjoy the grand, majestic scene of tens of thousands of sky lanterns floating up reaching for the stars!

【End of Activity, Leaving Smoothly】

• Expect crowds and delay when heading back to Chiang Mai (drop off point, not hotel).
• Return shuttles run in cycles, sometimes until late. It is recommended that you bring some snacks and drinking water with you in case you get hungry.
• If you're not in a hurry to leave, we recommend staying at the venue for a little longer while the crowd disperse. You can still enjoy the closing performances or find a place to sit and relax—it beats standing in long queues!

    Know before you go

    1. Do message us the names on the passports of all participants, as each one has a separate e-ticket in one link. If any participant's name is missing, we’ll not be able to issue an e-ticket link.
    2. Please provide your email address or WhatsApp contact number so that we are able to send you your tickets link upon payment confirmation.
    3. We provide booking services of tickets for the CAD Yi Peng Lantern Festival. The transport services and event operations are solely arranged by the organiser. The organiser (CAD) reserve the right to final interpretation of the event.
    4. The official shuttle arrangements made by the organiser will be at the designated pick-up and drop-off points for the gathering and the disbanding. You will need to arrange your own transportation from/to your hotel.
